I think he dropped LSU actually.

The Oklahoma commit was a bit out of left field.

I think we would have gotten him if we had offered Hurd but who knows. When he didn't get offered at camp last year, things kind of fell apart with Nelson.

Cancelled his trip to USC this morning because he committed to Brett Venables last night during his in-home visit.

Directly from USC sources.

Rivals and one of the OU sites (Hales) went with a story without confirmation.

As of this AM he is still with A&M.
I have no idea if he sticks but things are not looking great right.
Will have to see how this shakes out.

TrojanAce,
Do you this confirmed anywhere? Ive got Scout sub. and only thing is they're saying he may be visiting USC this weekend. Nothing about a decommitment.

1. My sources are not Tangerine's sources!

2. Confirmed by USC mods at 1AM PDT.

BTW A&M guys, I hope it's not true. I don't relish in it. I am reporting the reason why he is not tripping to USC being what was reported by his family to USC.

it will be pretty funny though...i have a few aggie co-workers stoked up about their class and this would be like a punch in the face by a tech fan

It certainly would, but it wont make or break the class coming in. The timing is really the hard part being so close to signing day. It basically makes it almost impossible to replace him if he has a change of heart.
