any names we should keep an eye on?

Khalil Ladler seems pretty certain. Is Stephon Taylor coming in? If so he'll probably commit.

He will be attending this weekend IIRC.

I assume you mean Ladler. He's a CB from GA that just transferred to IMG Academy in FL that loves LSU apparently.
He's about the size of Tre White when he was a Sr, which is a little smaller than we usually like but maybe he's got long arms like White. I don't see the same athleticism as White but he's a good cover guy. Just me, no way I take him this early but Raymond may like him too much to turn away. We will see. Not because he isn't good because he really is but because of our board. We have a loaded CB board.

Aren't they looking at Taylor as an OT I last heard?

I wonder where ladler is on their big board. Not sure how hard we are pursuing him he was kinda unknown by most people until last week really

No clue...this corner situation going to be very interestinG. He's coming in with the #1 corner in the country in smith (they are teammates iirc)

Taylor could play OT too but I really like how he looks as a DT. He's a higher upside Maquedius Bain IMO. It's just a numbers problem there with all the talent on the board this year. To me, if Lawrence and Ed Alexander are 1a and 1b, Taylor is 2 as far as in state. I'd have him ahead of the other guys at DT.
I'd take taylor now and label him as a jumbo athlete to make the numbers work. Let Grimes and Orgeron fight over him once he gets here.

We might know soon enough, but he is ranked as the 6th best CB in the country and Corey Raymond is in play for 6 of the top 10 composite CB's, and 9 of the top 20.

EDIT: Correction it's actually the first 7 of the top 10.

At least it's a good problem to have... Unless something crazy happens

Lawrence, ed and Oliver are must haves
Logan, a for sure take imo
guidry and Taylor are very good players but I feel one may be left out unfortunately

To me, Taylor is a take for sure. More explosive than Logan.
Ideally we sign Oliver, Lawrence, and Alexander at DT, Taylor again you label as a jumbo athlete to massage the numbers and figure it out once he gets on campus, and then try and get one of Logan/Guidry on board as a SDE. It's going to be hard to make it work

I would say Taylor at d end but no way he stays at 260 or 270. He's 6'5". I would be thrilled to have any of them. And you are right, Taylor would be the perfect take and grow type because his potential is huge

Summer camps going to be huge for these guys. Who wants it more?
Not to mention the guys that aren't on the radar yet or the general public doesn't know is on the radar...

Yeah I don't see him staying at 270 either
.
I also think we can sell needing the personnel to run a 3-4 as a way to get all of these guys, or the ones we want at least, in the fold. It's gonna be a crazy year but you take them as they want to come on board and keep recruiting the others relentlessly. Taylor looks like he'll pop first.
