I have no idea why any defensive player would want to play at OU or anywhere in the Big XII for that matter.

Because they only have 1-2 massive games in the regular season and one of them is typically against Baylor. It's no different than Clemson right now. They put kids into the league and you almost are guaranteed to play in the CFP.

Good. He's overrated. His style of LB is almost ancient now. He's a future DL or 3-4 LB. (Blackshire)

I think it's the same reason LSU isn't recruiting Kaine much right now.
Blackshire, especially after the knee injury, seems to be a d-lineman at the next level (at least in a 4-3), but with no video on him at that position, it's hard to recruit him when there's others more natural at that spot on the board
