Said player also informed me that Avery didn't like living in LA and wants to return home to Florida and may have already done so. Don't really give a rat's arse if you believe me or not but it doesn't look good for LSU if he turns into a D1 prospect

Seriously, is there anyone that can help me trim some kids off of the list?
I know all of those WR's can't possibly be LSU material.

Well, its one of those borderline decisions, but I think Justin Hunter is a pure longshot. I think he is in a similar situation, just from a recruiting standpoint, as an Xavier Nixon. He is from a state far away, has no real connection with Louisiana or LSU, and will be highly recruited by most top schools in the country. Sure, he may have an offer from us and he may have us in his top 12 or so, but unless he is serious about visiting or says something significant about LSU, what are the real chances of him coming here? Let me clarify that I don't know a lot about this guy and if there is something positive about his chances of really being interested then by all means tell me (have not recently scanned the previous eight pages).
Also, I don't know what the chances are of Ross Apo decommitting from Texas and coming to LSU but I would bet they are not high.

While I do agree with you, for the sake of keeping the standards of this list, if they have an offer on the table and aren't committed, I am going to have to leave them on the list.
I do appreciate you pointing out Apo to me.
Thanks for the help.

if anyone wants a complete list of all players, even those that we offered but have committed elsewhere, check the spreadsheet. i'm leaving all on there for reference. besides it's nice to be able to see recruiting patterns of players who LSU has offered

ESPNU 150 Watch List cornerback Dior Mathis is holding scholarship offers from across the nation but does not have a leader, affiliate Web site InsideTheU.com reports.
He said, "I have everyone at the same level right now but I'm considering Miami, Florida, LSU, USC, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, and Florida State."
Additionally, Mathis stated that he'll likely wait until January 2010 to make his final decision.

Marcus Lattimore starting to narrow wide field down
Highly coveted ESPNU 150 Watch List running back Marcus Lattimore, who is now holding 22 scholarship offers, told ESPN affiliate Web site TigerGumbo.com that a few programs are starting to get ahead of the pack.
"There are a few of them that are standing out. There is like eight or nine that I'm really focusing on. LSU, of course, Auburn, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Clemson, and Duke. That's about it."
However, Lattimore isn't ready to decide yet, "I don't have a favorite. I'm going to take all my visits (after the new year) and then commit on signing day."

I added ATH Da'Rick Rogers. Saw he had an offer while surfing the rivals 100.

I would have to imagine that it's pretty rare for an OL to play baseball as well. I guess he plays catcher?

CB Adrian White of Desoto, TX committed to Texas so guess he should now be off the board for us.

Looks like this kid is going to enjoy being a recruit.
I think we are just too deep at DE for him to come here.
