re: Chris Humes 2012 CB from Alabama

I remember the day he signed the talk about Bell. The only reason Saban wanted him was to get a foot into Louisiana. I don't feel sorry for him because he couldn't see that.

IMO, I don't think he would have seen the field at LSU either. The kid is a I-AA player. He owes his 4 stars to Chris Tolliver.

Well, honestly, I think both were overrated coming out of HS. I said when we got CT, he was a overrated WR. So far, that has been pretty much true at LSU. He probably won't even be on the team next year. Wouldn't be surprised to see him get a medical as a excuse to free his ship up.

He is Rivals 250 for sure. Some people have him as the best player in the state for 2012 in Alabama. Best CB in the state for sure. 4 star definately and if Bama offers he is a 5 star

Sentimore has shown lots of promise, and most likely will start next year. Kenny Bell has played a lot this season, considering the WR depth. He'll have a chance when Julio leaves to find more time in the rotation. Eddie Lacy will have an opportunity to be the second 'back in the rotation in 2011. Robby Green returns in 2011, and most likely takes over Mark Barron's spot.

Yall's D-line talent is no where close to ours FWIW. That being said, we would love to have Lacy, but yall can keep Bell, because our WR talent is alot better than yalls as well. Green would be in a log jam at Safety here. This is all my opinion though.

It's a completely different system. I wouldn't expect it to be. The LBs are the key to Alabama's defense.

Alabama has tons of depth on the DL, just no true pass rushers outsider of Dareus.

I don't see LSU's WRs being any better than Alabama's.

He doesn't have an offer yet, but he's one of the top DBs in-state for 2012. He'll certainly have an offer in a few months. Most of the Prichard kids go to Alabama, but we'll see.

Bama can have Brackett if it means us getting Humes.
