I'm by no means being negative about Allen or not saying he wouldn't be great for LSU. Any LSU fan would love to have him. But he has been recruited hard by us for a long time. He could've committed long ago and been a centerpiece of this class. Instead he has been infatuated with Bama, which he has every right to. Because of this I think it's a troll and we should really focus on the guys with sincere interest. If we can get him as well, that's a cherry on top. I'm sure the staff knows way more than me about each kids individual feeling/ circumstance. It's going to be a wild 8 days!

I think you kind of misread what I was saying. More or less, I just meant that karma catches up to recruits who troll. I'm not necessarily saying that Allen is or isn't, but if he is, that's his problem. I'm cool with whatever decision he makes—I want him at lsu, but we'll be more than fine if we get queen, gay, and Phillips (plus those already on our roster, Donnie, Devin, Key, etc.).

Somebody will transfer to another school and Saban and Bama will block them from going SEC right away so when he is gone Saban won't have to worry about him playing against him.
Recruit more than you need, wait til they transfer and say "you cant play against us" and you've successfully kept your opponents down by breaking promises to kids.

When you keep seeing the same script over and over again you tend to know the ending.
This is the same story as with Hootie and Jamal. Bama had Hootie try and troll us bigtime, and I am just glad Miles didn't take the bait!!!

I think the last OC under Miles who had total control over the offense and play calling was Jimbo. And I still think Miles tried controlling aspects of the offense even then.
