Chauncey Lee (RB/LB) Ruston Jr. High - Class of 2023

Chauncey Lee will be one of the top RBs to come out of Ruston High. He is 5'6 and 175lbs. He just turned 13 and had over 15 TDs for the season going over 1000 yards as a 7th grader and was called up to play on the 8th Grade team also. Loves the gym and loves to work out, best of all he loves the game. He is also a power forward on the 7th and 8th grade basketball teams.

Btw.. I'm not educated enough to know this, but what great backs have came out of Ruston High school and did anything in college?

I would like to thank the OP for a genuine laugh. Seeing this kid run over kids 70 pounds lighter than him was amusing. I especially like the fact that they ran every highlight twice in case we missed a subtle nuance the first time.

He and Norman Bradford were the 2 best RBs in the state that year. I think they were top 3 or 5 nationally.

It's funny how I see a lot of the people on these boards give big props to one kid that is 8th grade, whose has a dad that was a pretty good running back.But then you come back and bash another kid. The kid is going to be a good one and he has the people, like me, in his corner to make sure he continues on the path he is on. Call it what you may choose to, but in the next three years, he will be a common name on all the recruiting boards.

ShreveportTiger1987 - being from Shreveport, surely you know a lot about Ruston High football! This year, Ruston Freshman, Ruston JV nor Ruston Varsity lost to a shreveport area team. I don't think Ruston has lost to a Shreveport area team in 15 years!

Captain Shreve beat the shite out of Ruston in 2007 and Ruston was ranked in the top 10 in 5A.
ETA: Byrd also beat Ruston in 2008 and for three straight years from 2010-2012. Huntington beat y'all in 2009.
shite Ruston pretty much loses to a Shreveport team every year.

Two other posts about Jr. High kids on this same front page and it seemed they got a lot of love..hmmm.. maybe just a bunch of smart asses on this post.. Just makes me wonder why the love for one and the hate for another?

I doubt it's personal. I hated seeing the first two and when I saw this one, I said "holy shite, another one???"
I wouldn't reply negatively to any of them, but I can see how the third in two days was met with a little negativity.

It's ridiculous what recruiting has caused and this is it right here.. you're posting about how good a more mature 13 yr old is. If he's playing varsity as a freshman at Ruston and wrecking shite, I'll pay attention. Not now... and I don't see how anyone can gaf either yet
