In the FCS. Not the SEC. That's multiple levels higher than he can imagine in FCS. If he's scouted to play at a high level in SEC, sure. Can't really make that claim though just because he's an All-American in scrub FCS league.
Cypress is a safer push. He's an NFL player that already showed it at a big university.

I would think we would get at least 2-3 transfer corners whether we draw Ricks or not. You have to think you can't reasonably count Banks or Harris as having a position locked down because of health concerns with Banks and off the field concerns with Harris. They are both high risk/high reward guys. You could have both as starters all year and both could be All Americans or you could lose both before or early into the season. I think Harris is definitely worth the risk and sometimes environment and structure can be the difference a kid needs. I just wouldn't count either of these in our guaranteed CB numbers for the season due to the concerns.

I’m eager to see what tmrw brings in terms of unknown transfers. Looks like we should expect at least 3 new transfers, one of which i imagine will be Harris

Saw somewhere that Harris was announcing where he was going on New Year's Day.
That might not be correct, but if he doesn't get announced tomorrow it isn't a reason for panic.
I do expect that Kelly will announce a CB among tomorrow's group though.

Only place I heard was Colorado. Don't know if he visited it but thought it was down to us and them.

No, though that means nothing. I'm not really following it.
I'd be surprised if he went anywhere but here unless we turned him down, which sounds like it would be a reversal from earlier this week. The buzz coming out of the football complex had it that Harris was in but that we weren't going to announce anything while we had other corners still floating out there.
And that would make sense, though it could easily be wrong like most of the recruiting stuff you pick up.

Shea has been saying that. I think it’s kind of the opposite of look at me, they’ll have bowl games and NFL all on day. I think it’s just a logical deadline this time of the year.

I see folks mentioning Cypress on here a good deal now. Does anyone know for sure if we are talking to him or is that us as fans wanting it because of Rick's.
