If you're relying on freshman CBs to start for you next year we in trouble. I don't care how talented they are that's growing pains instantly. The rare exception is if you're getting generational talent and while these guys are definitely blue chips on the table they're not a Stingley or Patrick Peterson.

House runs too much zone in his scheme to think freshman can thrive immediately. It's very likely why Welch didn't sniff the field this year. Takes awhile for young CBs to learn zone. Man is totally different. You can slot freshman CBs in easier when you play heavy man.

Agree. If he couldn’t play with the needs in our secondary last year then it is probably best for him to move on.

This is the one I expected to hit the portal months ago. Been here way too long and was suspended in a year where he would have been in the 2 deep I would think.
