In the list of 18 newcomers on the LSU baseball team, there is no mention of Carson Barinik. He is an excellent pitcher from Parkway HS in Bossier City. He indicated recently that he is an LSU commit. Is he in next year's class?

I just found addl info that Barinik played in last Saturday's Under Armour HS All American Game in Wrigley Field. Each pitcher pitched only one inning during the game. Barinik pitched a shutout. I guess we will never see him throw a pitch for LSU. Will be too high a profile player and the damn MLB will throw an obscene amount of money at him which he will be unable to turn down!

Carson will be at LSU, but he is ranked in the top 5 HS prospects. Even though he is all LSU and his dad values education over a couple million dollars.
