Little would be great. Our Dline should be fine next year

Disagree - we will better than we are now, but only slightly. We lose 3 guys from current roster.

Dline will be fine. If we land a couple of the juco olinemen, that should be all we need. We have several very good young olinemen. Lines should be set going forward, though we certainly need to replace Grimes.

But we gain Fehoko and Shelvin. Let's also bank on our 2 best (Alexander & Lawrence) having to sit out multiple games bc of injuries, which has seemed to hurt us more than we would have through. So all-in-all, we gain 2 studs and have our 2 best playing every game. That doesn't include some of the guys we are going to sign

Ok, so all you are saying is the talent in the rotation will be higher, on average, than now. But net-net, I think we will only be a couple bodies up from this year, with the guys we have committed. An injury or two (hope not) throws a decent rotation back in NO ROTATION.

So back to the DL depth - we need more.

Same with OL.

guy like little and most of the talented ones anyone would want have played since freshman and will probably leave after their junior year. Shea's said he's not leaving and why would any of those guys, as evident in the last 3 weeks it isn't easy to go somewhere and pick up a new offense and run it especially during the season you want to look your best for scouts. Hell what are we going to sell them on, drop everything and come play in Texas bowls? You'd be better served by looked at A&M, potentially Arkansas and TN.

And we still NET GAIN 5...

6 DL committed recruits PLUS Shelvin & Fehoko.

DL will be just fine. OL is another story.

Math is hard.

No way we need (2) SEC ready JUCO DEs. We need depth for the future as well. Or at the very least a top 10 HS DE who is physically ready and nasty along with another Top 10 JUCO DE plus add the HS guys we have committed and then we'll be set up. There will be 3 starters leaving this year so we need to fill those roles with guys who are ready now. We need (2) more big time DEs at LSU in 2018 to be ready to compete. Now once the 2019 guys come in we will probably be fine and may not NEED JUCO guys but if I were LSU I would dip into those rankings as often as I possibly could to ensure we have the depth we need every year until we are 2 and even 3 deep along our lines.

We do have two big 300plus nose tackle just waiting for next year.. #4 looks like he will be better than key.

Wow, hard arse alert... and lets put you back in 2nd grade while we are at it.

You're an idiot. I'm not going to do that math for you.

HINT: Just because a recruit is listed on DL does not mean he will be on DL in the 3-4.

Well that's just rich...

In case you can't keep up, we could have 5 of 6 switch over from DL (not gonna happen), and STILL break even on number of DL on roster.

We lose 3, we gain 8... it's not that difficult.
