The aunt is a MAJOR factor in his recruitment. She has never been to lsu. If it wasn't for that he would be a tiger already. Once she meets his future coach (coachO) he will have her blessing. The uncle already loves the staff.
Her coming in with him is HUGE for us. If all goes well which it should, shavar will be a tiger.

Pretty sure Fulton is going to be at Arkansas with Guidry Thursday, at least that is what we are hearing, I beloved 24/7 is reporting it also, correct me if I'm wrong.

So what does everyone here know about Shavar Manuel that 247 doesn't? I don't follow recruiting that closely but they have him 89% FSU and us Only 8

Manuels last visit went extremely according to a lot of people with inside knowledge. He came in town with Saivion Smith, thoroughly enjoyed his time here, and to put a cherry on the sundae, Kristian Fultons (though the young Fulton was not present) dad had Manuel and Smith over at his house for gumbo before they went back to Florida. Apparently Manuel does not have his parents in the picture, so the biggest influences on the home front are his aunt and uncle. His uncle accompanied him last visit and was sold on the idea of Shavar playing here. Next large hurdle, and hopefully the final one, is getting the aunts approval. A poster is saying Shavar is coming to town this weekend, though it hasnt been confirmed by any of the recruiting services, and his aunt will be with him. If thats true, its a great sign for the Tigers.
ETA: Dont just look at the totals on Crystal Balls. Look at the most recent action on them and look into which insider CBed him to where. A lot of folks automatically CBed him to FSU due to proximity to IMG Academy, just like a lot of folks CB Louisiana prospects to LSU automatically.
