Wishful thinking. This will only bring more threads. When the kid talks more about CRob than himself during his announcement, the discussions won't end.

If Sims can play some quality snaps at LSU then LSU should have offered.
He's not good enough to earn offer on film/name recognition
Should have nutted up and came to camp. Guess he wasn't thrilled about being the 5th best WR in the state

And I will believe Sims is going to Alabama when he signs, if they can get a better player they will.
If Cam commits to LSU in January and Ermon Lane flips to Bama around NSD than I could see Bama offering him a greyshirt.

There might actually be something positive that comes out of this announcement. With Sims now committed, Bama will likely stop pursuing Malachi Dupre due to having limited schollys to give out.
Bama would drop Sims like a bad habit if Dupre wanted in and they were limited on spots. Let's be real here.

No they wouldn't. Grey shirt for him or someone else and take Dupre. Wouldn't cut him though unless CRob was enrolled at Bama. Why would they do that and piss off CRob? Once he's there they wouldn't care.
Still, Sims gets shite on way too much here for a 4 star that's going to the Under Armour All American game. Not saying he's better than the big 3 LSU is going after. He's downplayed waaaay too much for a top 100 guy that just committed to the guys that won 3 out of 4 national titles.

Where are people shitting on him?

According to this article:
Sims is committed to participate in the Under Armour All-American game and is ranked as the No. 6 wide receiver (and No. 63 prospect overall) by ESPN. Rivals.com also tabs him as the No. 15 wide receiver in the country.

Apparently you never read this board because every thread about him he's degraded.

i feel as if people do talk negatively about him on here, but he is delusional if he thinks he will be playing next year... even Collins rode that pine this past season...

, it is what it is.
No room for a good WR that probably would have gotten an offer if the situation was different.
Do we offer him on the chance of getting CR?
What if that had happened and CR still went elsewhere?
I think the LSU staff knows way more about these kids than we do...

I'm just saying he's not a two star scrub. He's a top 100 guy that is treated like you need a sun dial to time him in the 40.

I suppose buts its still difficult to see the #6 receiver (ESPN) in the country leave the state when we didn't even offer him? AND we're sitting here with just 14 commitments.

LSU has stopped recruiting.
I heard 14 is Les' lucky number....
