I've read these boards for years, but never posted until now. But I have another possiblity to think about.
The way it's shaped up at this point, whoever he announces for, it will end up being a troll job on the other school. However, it it would end up being so much better a troll job on Alabama.
Now what would be the benefit for him trolling his home state and all of his friends? A little notoriety? A flash in the pan, and life-long bad blood? But what would be the benefit of a life long die hard LSU fan to pull off the ultimate troll against Shorty and the Gumps as well as ESPN. He would be a hero forever, and create a huge buzz for himself as well.

I mean, it never hurts to check up on things you hear. But if the ONLY source is the competition's fans, and nobody else, then it's likely just a rumor.
