The only way Brennan plays is if he gains 30 lbs, which may or not happen.

Why the hell wouldn't he? These QBs actually want situations like this and I assure you that their parents really want it. The pressure is completely off of them so they can focus on thier weakness and take time to get better.
These HS QBs can forget about coming into big time college football and starting immediately. They should always sit for at least (2) years if not RS and sit for (3) years which is ideal. Give Gunnel as much starting time as you possibly can when there is a blow out making sure he's being groomed for his time when it comes and they will be totally fine with learning from veterans, especially if LSU is having winning seasons.
That's how you learn and grow. It also prepares you to be a team player once you get to the next level. Not every kid is talented enough to transition from HS to college immediately and if he is then he'll get the start period.
So Gunnel better be ok with sitting for 3 years if that's what it takes. Give him his RS his freshman year and he'll still be a sophomore when it's his turn to shine. Not such a bad proposition.

I like this but I think Lowell is in this equation somehow someway. He's got too much talent not to play at some point.
I think it goes like this
2018 Burrow / RS Frosh Lowell N (backs up) / RS Sophomore Brennan RS's
2019 Burrow / RS Sophomore Brennan / RS Sophomore Narcisse / Gunnel RS's
2019 OR Burrow is drafted / RS Sophomore Brennan starts / RS Sophomore Narcisse / Gunnel RS's
2020 RS Junior Brennan / RS Junior Narcisse / RS frosh Gunnel
2021 Brennan is drafted / RS Senior Narcisse starts / RS Sophomore Gunnel backs up
2022 Narcisse is drafted / RS Junior Gunnel Starts with his back up getting garbage time.
Young QBs at LSU starting is now a thing of the past. GO TIGERS!!!

Hilarious watching so many of these fantasies that MB will without a doubt play and LN does not. If they are here for the same amount longer than 2 years, you don't start MB over LN at that point if they are both ready to play.
