If I were the LSU coach I would have someone at everyone of his games, saw TJ one time in two years at one of our games. Butch Pierre is all over this kid along with some other big time programs.

Let us know which coaches are there so that we can put them on the list of candidates if we blow nuts again next year.

Hey King let me ask you something. we played pickering friday night in pickering..As a referee how is this supposed to be handled. We are winning by 3 with 4 seconds left on the clock and someone passes out in the stands on about the third row. the three officials sat under the goal for about 15 minutes. A doctor went down there and came back and said there was nothing wrong with the kid he just needed some fresh air, the kid refused to leave, when the doc told a guy from ehs that, told the referees "let's play"
Needless to say things got a little shakey until the sheriffs came into the stands. When that happened the refs got it going and we were out of there in about 5 minutes. My question is shouldn't the officials at least go over and see what is going on, so they could get the game going again. I am not sure how long we would have sat there had it not been for the "let's play" guy. It was a good 15 minutes. Just curious.

I had a woman fall down the stairs on to the floor at half court. I'm pretty sure she broke her hip. We stopped the game because she was in the frame of play. As soon as she could be safely removed we resumed.

Game management dictates that you should do your best to keep the flow of the game going. Big interruptions (i.e. technical fouls, addressing gym situations like out of control fans or non-game personnel happenings: spectator injury) are something I try to keep to a minimum.

Sometimes officials try to be too involved with things they shouldn't. They probably made it worse for this kid by making everyone stop and watch him. I would have stopped the game to make sure that medical personnel could get to him without hindrance. As soon as I felt that kids safety was no longer dependent on the game being stopped, boom play ball

Yes that is the way it should be done. These guys never even walked over to see what was wrong with the guy. They didn't react till the EHS fan yelled "let's plaY". That's when the sheriffs went into the stands because it was about to get ugly. I just think there should be some parameters officials should follow should this happen. I know it is rare, I have never seen that before, but it happens. Official are there to keep the game moving, assess situations and play ball. Thanks for your response. You calling any top 28 games?

I have seen this kid play several times this year. Each time out I get more impressed. If he grows about another 2-3 inches he will be a perfect SF at the next level. He has a + mid range jumper for a sophmore, he's developing a good perimeter game and can really elevate and explode to the basket. It will be fun to see him play Gathers on Friday. It's a shame I can't make it over there.

He's not better than every LSU starter or taz as stated earlier but he is a lot better then Langston Galloway IMO.

He's the best high school sophmore I can remember since Hi-C, he was truly the only player for EHS last night that was not scared. He was a one man wrecking crew with no help at all. He just ran out of gas. He had 20 at half, kept it close as possible all by himself. Riverside just had to many horses. They are loaded and gathers looks like he is 25 years old, he is one of three really good players on that team. Bridge and him went up one time near the goal and bridge blocked his shot, it was classic. Gathers is a stud. Gathers and bridge would be hell at LSU. Hopefull our next coach will do what it takes to get these two.

I think he's eerily similar to Gathers. Nearly identical size and they have similar strengths and weaknesses

Not close.

He is much, much more skilled than Gathers. He's better than Gathers right now, even though he's a year younger.

Brigdewater will be able to play the 3 in college, inside and out. Gathers, who still just relies mostly on his athleticism, will strictly be a post in college.

Gathers is an unbelievable physical specimen, but he is still pretty raw. Makes me wonder if those skills will ever develop. I think he'll end up at LSU.

If Bridgewater grows a few more inches, he'll be able to pick whatever college he wants. I think there's a better chance Gathers ends up at LSU than Bridgewater. However, there is still a pretty decent chance both end up here.

ETA: Bridgewater is a top 3 player in the state right now, IMO. As a sophomore.

St. Joe's almost had Dayton today. Would have gotten them into the final of their tournament. Would have been great to see Langston in the NCAA this year.

Top Performers
Saint Joseph's: L. Galloway 16 Pts, 9 Reb, 3 Ast, 3 Stls

And he played 39 minutes.
