If your boss has led you believe that you're their guy, and that you're next in line to be manager, and then you find out that he's interviewing other guys for the managerial position, wouldn't you feel somewhat deceived?

Probably not necessary. But I fully stand by my original sentiments. If the poster was old enough to follow the Jamarcus or RP recruiting hype and is more excited about Brennan, then he's either disingenuous at best or seeing things through a completely different lens. Brennan couldn't hold Mettenberger's jock, much less JR or RP.
And not that it matters one bit, but I'm a mid-40's white far-right wing conservative who's favorite all-time Tiger QB is Rohan. Too many of you got your panties in too tight a wad.

Orgeron made the offer because narcisse is still talking to other schools. And Brennans people are letting people know they don't think brennan fits well with kiffin. Lsu learned a hard lesson last year by sticking to Frank's with no backup plan. That can't happen again. So the anger on this board at o is misplaced

The last time this board went this crazy about a QB commit that everyone was hoping to get and thought we had a shot to get was Brandon Harris… How'd that turn out????
I hope this kid comes to LSU and is great but I'm not getting excited about any QB until they come here and actually play well.
Who knows, Lindsey Scott might be great. Lamar Jackson was a 3 star!!!

I don't think he's being wishy washy. When he took the interim job, he said that he was a pro style guy. Which was true. Then he coached in the sec west and was hired. He then said he wanted to run a more power spread offense. From who he is reportedly looking at for oc, that is what we are going to do. It's perfect for narcisse.
But narcisse is still taking visits. So lsu can't just sit around and hope it works out like they did last year. I hope narcisse sticks, because I think he is going to be explosive in the planned offense.

Brennan can pick up the phone any time he wants to and call any number of schools and get a scholly offer or accept one that he already has. Point being, he can afford to wait and see how things shake out with the LSU OC situation.

I am just as excited about Narcissw as I am Brennan. And I am no where near as excited as when we had JR, MF, RP, or ZM committed.

He is listening to everyone and trying to solidify his #2 school. He doesn't even have one at the moment and is just trying to identify one. People are freaking out and recruiting insiders are reporting everything that happens cuz it's their job. This is much different than Franks last year. Everyone knew he liked Florida. Brennan likes LSU a lot!! He doesn't even have a second school. People are really overreacting big time.
