Per Shea. LINK

Great to see him coming home. Huge get for the Tigers at a position of need.

I can see why they wanted to bolster the position, especially with Hampton moving on.

All of a sudden that safety room looks pretty nice!

Ward

Great potential at the position, not much experience

Harris

Isn't very good (probably due to injury)

Ryan...Davis

Freshmen, but both beasts, but still freshmen.

Toles

Had super high expectations of him, but he really was disappointing. Maybe that was just Pelini.

I think Burns has a very legit chance to start.

ETA:

Forgot Langlois as pointed out. That kid might end up being a gem.

Yep.

Still needing safety depth and he can also play nickel/corner, so this is a fantastic get. It sucks what happened the first time around, but glad he's back home. He will be solid for us I believe.

Personally just happy to see this after what happened with him during his recruitment. Definitely a good get as well.

Keep disrespecting Matthew Langlois by not mentioning him with the safety group

That’s a terrible name for a DB.

And he’s really not a box safety

This is fair. I admittedly forgot as I was replying to previous poster. This guy has a great chance to see PT.

He should change his name to Quentin Jammer. That was a good name for a db.

He has to sit 2021 unless SEC changes the inter-conference transfer rule. With tootoo going from Tenn to Bama, I assume that will happen.

I don’t think this was a wise use of the last schollie, but more power to them. You’re gambling big time that a #2 WR and a TE will appear out of nowhere. There’s certainly no guarantee that Gilbert will be back and eligible.

I definitely agree with your evaluation, Harris has been a huge disappointment from his expectations. I actually don’t even think it is due to injury as prior to injury he was getting beat badly at times. Maybe that was due to inexperience we will see, but my confidence level on him performing at the level we need him to perform isn’t very high at all.

Toles has been another disappointment when it comes to play on the field hitting expectations coming in, but again this could be do to inexperience.

Ward played great during the spring game and imo has earned a spot that someone would have to take it away from him.

My personal opinion is that Burns will have a great opportunity to compete and might just surprise a few people on this board.

Ehh...
Youre assuming there was a solid receiving option available and interested in coming here first off.....

Secondly, safety is clearly an issue.... youre basically getting a new recruit with a free year of SEC experience already coached into him (on a MUCH better defensive unit)....

Add on top of that a local kid who gonna bleed P&G.....

I respectfully disagree
