Blake Ivy went up against Maurice Williams/Cobey Sellers/Jacorey Watson tonight.

Ivy looked average. Williams had some good plays, some average, and got burnt deep on a TD that got called back. Wish those 2 the best elsewhere.

The real prizes will be Sellers + Watson in 2025. Sellers doesn’t get thrown at much but he made a couple nice breakups.

Watson is a freakin human joystick. He plays QB but will likely transition to WR, and dear god he’s gonna be a fun player to just get the ball in his hands and watch him go.

Would love to see those 2 in P&G.

I said this. Ivy is not impressive. His tape shows him bodying corners and 145 lb olbs. Ziron brown meanwhile is pancaking legit 3 techniques with D1 offers.

He wasn’t even really doing that tonight. They had a goal line series and moved him from LT to RG. I assumed they’d run right behind him… but nope, they ran behind the new left side of the line. Made no sense and there was no push.

I walked away unimpressed, but maybe that’s why I’m not coaching D1 CFB and guys like Brad Davis are.

That’s definitely what I walked away thinking, haha. He was by far the biggest dude on the field. If he figures out how to really use his lower half, he’s gonna be a monster.
