Certainly is James. That is my bad there

Are you sure? The Advocate had it as Jones today. I Googled it, and it came up multiple times both ways. Are their two of them?

The 6-9 Damien Jones, out of Scotlandville High School in Baton Rouge, La., is being recruited by Oklahoma and Tulane and is also considering visiting St. John’s , he said by text.

“I love him,” said Bobby Sibley, editor of the Louisiana Basketball Report. “He’s about 6-9. Long, athletic. Good face-up game. Very skilled around the basket. I would say he’s a legit four. He’s athletic, can step out to 15 feet and hit that jumper. Great hands, great footwork.”

Every time I watch Damian play, I am more and more impressed. His 25,18,7 game against Rico was incredible. The kid is athletically gifted and actually skilled around the basket. Not sure I have seen much of that 15 foot jump shot they talk about but his free throw stroke looks fine to me.

Jared on the other hand, has been limited playing time in a few of the games. However, when they played Westbury Christian (LJ Rose's team), he played more because he is better at getting out and guarding on the perimeter than Jones and Westbury had a lot of smaller post players (more like 3s playing the 4/5).

Both kids will play D1 ball but Jones seems to have the higher ceiling (bigger and more athletic). Both could use 15-20 pounds of muscle!
