Section 13 is just about the portal window opening, it doesn't address eligibility on the back end.

I might not be right. It is how I am interpreting the rules. There are analyst that are saying they will not be able to play. I do not consider Kendall Rogers an analyst

The most notable mid year transfers that were eligible coming to LSU were Todd Linden and Bryan Moore transferring in December 2000 for the 2001 season!

Current rules did change on this issue. Actually got better with coach leaving. Google can easily get you the answers you seek. Plus as someone else mentioned the timing of this coach move doesn’t leave many options of schools in a position to take a transfer they didn’t have plans for!

Yes you can if your academics meet the requirements! There are people that have actually played for LSU that transferred mid year and were eligible!! One was an All-American transfer from Washington to LSU in Todd Linden.
