Nah. I'm not confident that he's coming to Bama. I think he'll probably end up at LSU because he's a LA kid. But I think Bama has a decent shot at him, a much better shot than anyone on here will admit. I wouldn't be surprised at all if right now RR himself doesn't know what he's gonna do.

I think this will be just like Julio's recruitment with Bama and OU. Bama fans will get excited when we see Randle on the internet saying "Roll Tide!" The buzz will get ridiculous when he wears a Crimson Tie to his press conference. He then picks up the LSU Cap and Bama fans everywhere will say that had it not been for the in-state pressure he would have been in Crimson. Is that about right? Randle ends up in Purple and Gold.

Why would anyone need to double-team Julio? Pardon the logic, but it that were a factor wouldn't it make more sense to sign with a team like LSU and play opposite a guy that is leading the SEC in receptions and receiving yards per game? Besides, it looks like Bama won't have much of a QB for the next few years anyway.

No QB and JJ will be gone in two more years. No way he stays four years.

I think Reuben Randle will end up at Alabama. Miami has no shot at him. It is between LSU and BAMA. I think he likes the idea of coming to BAMA and playing opposite Julio Jones, it will reduce the double team on both of them.

I am of the opinion that he iwll end up at Alabama.

As confident as you are that's all you can come up with? LSU has plenty of WR's he can play beside so that he wont' get the double team. Brandon LaFell, Chris Mitchell, Jared Mitchell, Terrance Toliver. Not to mention the possibility of D Benton becoming eligible.

Just throwing this out there as it has been bugging me. He is playing QB right now and apparently is awesome. With the gumps lack of qb talent could they be offering him a shot at qb? We wouldn't with Shep and Garret and JJ and JLee. Sorry but I am not including Hatch in this. Anyway, just a thought.

I think playing opposite Julio Jones and creating the most talented wideout tandem in the country WOULD be attractive for Randle. You LSU fans said it yourself...you're deep enough that Julio Jones would not have had significant playing time this season, so why would it be any different for Randle next season?

Speaking of having no current quarterback talent, please tell us how your enviable situation is working out with Andrew Hatch and Jarrett Lee. I can tell Florida was more than intimidated by Lee.

Because we really aren't..a lot of people here don't want to admit it, but the staff is signing all these receivers for a reason.

We've got talented guys but they'll be gone soon. I don't know if Julio or Randle would start as freshmen here, but I'm pretty sure they'd both get significant amounts of playing time.

You can't keep athletes like that off the field.

You are basing this off of what? Our back-up has not had any real significant playing time so who knows. He backed up Chase Daniel in high school in Texas and then threw for 52 td's his senior season and rushed for 15 or so. Star will be a red shirt frosh but is very talented. Not to mention if Randle were to come to Bama (I already said I didn't think he would) he would be coming in with AJ, so I don't think the talent right now is any worse or better than what LSU has. Just different.

Most of you Bama boys are posting fairly intelligent posts right now so try not to blow it. This is gonna sting but LSU, with its freshman QB, is 3# in passing efficiency which is obviously ahead of Bama. Next year that freshman, who was awarded SEC Freshman of the Week for beating AU at AU (something Bama can't do), will be an experienced Sophomore and JJ will be a redshirt frosh.

Star, if he even plays next year, might be decent and he was a good QB in high school but don't pretend that Bama will be in better shape at QB next year than LSU and that Bama fans aren't concerned about that fact. At best, you have an unknown at QB next year whereas LSU has a decent idea of what it can expect.

Randle isn't going to Georgia to play with AJ Green, who is the best freshman receiver in the league. Sorry.

Ummm. B/c playes LSU players graduate and go on to the NFL.

LSU's top wideouts this year are D. Byrd and Brandon Lafell. Byrd is graduating this year and Lafell will be a senior next year. So, there are plenty of opportunities for the wideouts to see significant playing time next year and the year after that.

It is but we have been running it like crazy. Ok, if your talented Freshman qb can be #3 in his 2nd year in the system, why can't our Junior have the ability to do the same in his 4th year in the system? He will have very talented skill players around him and a pretty talented line blocking for him. So we may not know what to expect coming into the season, but I don't think we are going to be chopped liver at qb either, nor do I think the situations at LSU and Bama are night and day different.

Sorry but the best tandem or trio is being next to Terrance Toliver and Deangelo Benton.
