very true.
and that being true means that not only was the combo of Guice/CRob intentionally misleading (with the collaboration of pay sites I might add) LSU, the parents were likely (not certainly) part of the act. The part about Mom and Dad being all LSU was never true. Especially the dad (who has been trolling LSU fans here).

that is very true, in some regions and for some schools/players. I don't realistically see LSU changing their entire way of doing recruiting, but in "red" areas (competition from TAMU, Gumps, AR, OM, and MSU) need to be treated differently.

I think it's time to get a young, Energetic North LA asst coach, increase the Recruiting Budget and do the homework necessary to know who are the influences with each individual recruit. We can't assume anything with these kids anymore. I would also get someone from the State of Alabama to start hitting them hard in their breadbasket like they're doing us. Hire Mike Shula, Dubose or someone like that...

For those of you trying to place the blame on Don Shows please get your facts straight. Shows had nothing to do with this, it was all C Rob's handlers King and Guice. As I've said before it's no secret about what's been going on and you don't need insider info to see the truth.
How quickly people forget all the talent that West Monroe and Don Shows have sent to LSU. How about S. King, T. Banks, R. Reed, B.Smalling, A. McConathy, B. James, A. Whitworth, S. Clemons, B. Mingo, P. Turner? Our big time, blue chip players go to LSU for the most part so one bad gump apple doesn't spoil the whole bunch.
