Don't have a clue where he is going, but you'd think he would skip his trip to Austin this weekend on his own dime if he were planning on committing elsewhere.

TDawg1313,

I hope he does stay and play for Coach Sark.
If he's good enough to play as a freshman, who wouldn't want to play with Jake Locker?

Jake Locker will be gone next year, but we have Nick Montana, and it sounds like Brett Hundley too coming on board to play QB.

That's my thought too.

He got his offer from Texas on his trip there this weekend. He says he will decide between Texas and Washington.

August 16th will be a great day for Dawg fans

I'm confused: Do the UW students refer to themselves as "Dawgs" too, or is that simply license taken by one poster here? Of course, I understand that a Husky is a breed of dog, but that d-a-w-g spelling is meant to mimic a Southeastern drawl . . . a locale in which Washington is noticeably absent. Ya just really don't hear much of that twang in the great-and-rainy Northwest, ya know?

It's incorporating the W from UW. It's been that way for years and years, probably since the early 1900s here.

On topic related- ASJ just got back from Texas last night and is on the UW campus right now.
