The staff must feel like they have it covered being they haven't pursued a linebacker other than Lewis. They said when Steele was hired that he is known as a great organizer(I believe it may have come from Saban's mouth also), so It leads me to think that they've got a plan. I read that they're moving Voorhies to Lb. We're just going to have to wait and see how it goes.
Eta: Steele is a linebacker guy. That's his area. I believe things will get worked out, but I don't see them jumping at some big project type guy just for the sake of depth with the huge class looming next year. Will be a major pitch for already awesome recruiters to land top guys. Chavis not having a single backer committed when he left is what hurt us.

I'm guessing grades are an issue. He might wind up being one of those guys like Domond or Jeter but I'm just spit balling here now
