Are we ready with the NIL's?

Now is the time to have some NIL's waiting in the wings. Looks like movement in the portal has picked up a bit and combined with NSD you can bet there will be guys we would like to have but we need to keep the schollys.
The brother of the T from Vandy is a perfect example. IOL not heavily recruited but of good bloodlines.
Could help pull the big dude also. Multi year SEC starter who's seen all the competition.

Have you been in a fricking cave the last few weeks? We’ve signed 12 transfers for christs sake.

I would hope the lions share of remaining NIL money is going to be allocated to Jacoby Mathews and Harold Perkins - or at least I hope that’s how our boys are going to handle things.
If we could sign those two (2), I’d be ecstatic, and I wouldnt particularly care whoever else ends up in the class.

Are you saying we got the number 1 transfer class without using NIL?
Lol

Gordon is making a sweet arse offer to Perkins as we speak..

I still think (and maybe it’s happening) that recruits/players should be taken to Brian Harris, Allstate, Team, and Gerry Lane. They pick their vehicle, take a picture with, throw that picture on the dealerships website and boom NIL deal done.

If there are guys in the portal who can make a decision up till roughly 10am tomorrow other than the 12 we've already signed - for crissakes - AND they want to come to LSU, AND the coaches have some interest then hopefully there's enough NIL $ for a player or two.
But c'mon, does anybody really think that a Staff that is working it's plan so well and is in excellent alignment like this one hasn't thought this or other less than likely occurrences/situations through?

I can just see solid management/leadership principles and high attention to detail that transcends Business/Sports/Life that someone like you wouldn't recognize if it bit him on the dick.

More prepared than you are, that’s for damn sure lol!
I know that NIL is much much stronger for LSU than it was just a week ago! There really wasn’t much backing until about 10 days ago. But there’s plenty now, enough to get Caleb Williams attention, I didn’t say commitment, but we definitely got their attention.
There’s enough to have Perkins open up his options and come visit LSU. There’s enough to get Citizens attention and more than enough for Mathews to visit and take us seriously now. So I’d say with all the current movement in the positive direction from some of the biggest names left on the board, that there’s plenty of backing with NIL at LSU.
I heard an amount but I won’t post that because I have no idea how true it is and if I did know, I still wouldn’t give that out because it’s just not important. What’s important is that it’s there and we can compete with anyone as of now, with more on the way. Much more!

I was hoping the $ was there in case a unique situation presented itself. With this Staff I won't rule anything out.

This is great to hear but why was this not in place prior to the 1st signing day?

Now they can see the solid foundation and some of the fruit.

I honestly don’t have any clue as to why but my best guess is that Scott wanted the transition team here before this NIL thing got under way. He wanted it to be as organized as possible with everyone in “alignment”.
I know this, the people with the money just didn’t trust the previous people in place to be able to make these offers with confidence. There was also just no one taking the lead on it. We really do owe the “Get Gordon Team” for taking his time out to handle this himself. He was the lead in organizing this. I also believe that it couldn’t be anyone from LSU who organized it, it needed to be someone from the outside to simply go for it and he did that.
I know he and others have already talked to the biggest NIL donors already and have agreements. I also know that others are jumping on board. The smaller businesses pooling together, as well as creating their own smaller NIL deals. There will be more to come. Pretty sure you’ll see advertisement for just regular people to donate as well, at some point. Past alumni, and just regular people who have some extra cash. They might get like signed cards, signed jersey, helmet etc. for donating. There will be all kinds of new ways to generate the money needed as well. But it’s now rolling for sure!
