Visiting on the 24th and I wouldn't be surprised if he pulls the trigger while in BR. Visited the ole miss game and couldn't stop talking about LSU afterwards

I thought he is a OG.

He he a take with our needs

At least 2 OT. Hopefully 1 Juco and 1 HS.

At least 2/3 db since we only have 1 committed.

At least 2 more WR maybe 3.

1 more RB.

Possibly 1 more LB

And it looks like they want Glen Beal even though we have many TE.

What are your thoughts arky?

An OG, a very good one. Wouldn't rule out a move to OT if needed, but he belongs at guard.

I'd say a very good chance we get him. It would take a high-level team doing quite a bit of work to cause him to completely change direction, and it's full-on tilt to us with Ole Miss chasing (and all that looms over them).

Not only a take, but I'd say we need him with it looking like S. Charles about to become a full time OT.

That is good.

With ingram brumfield Campbell etc I was just hoping we would get 2 more OT.

TE have good feet and if they add weight they make good OT's Roddy for instants he is 275 now it he can add weight he would be a good OT at 295 he is 6'5" so he has the frame.

These JUCO OL prospects make a lot of sense to bridge to the expectedly large and very good 2019 OL class for LSU, but you dont pass on Wonnum or someone like Wonnum.

agreed, especially Wonnum. His weight is his only knock/ratings downgrade, and that's easily fixed on a 6'5" frame.

With the transfers we had out (and a couple in, people seem to forget about those) we have plenty room to do some OL "make-up" from the JUCO ranks and continue recruiting at our normal pace.

Any JUCO/transfer-in just needs to be a position of need; so far it has been: DL, WR. Need that OL now.

"Best player available" mentality needs to stay on HS recruits to maintain relationships and future/pipeline at all positions.

If we do it right, some of those transfer outs can be a delayed blessing in disguise since we're playing catch up in the trenches. I'd say except for 1, the one's that transferred out were either projects or weren't progressing as fast as needed. Which means the "make-up" was growing larger, just at a slower pace. This JUCO class means alot and must fit, for the trenches, the next 3 yrs of recruiting otherwise we don't make up enough ground.
