Any potential position changes?

Are any of our current commits going to get a look at other positions once they arrive on campus?
If we end up with a couple of grade casualties on the OL numbers, could we see a long DT or heavy DE make the move?

Cam’ron Jackson will play OT

From current commit list:
Arik Gilbert could play rush OLB, but obviously we're bringing him as a TE, he's a terror on defense though too
Major Burns can play S or CB but we told him CB coming in
Lorando Johnson will either be a nickel or safety
Alex Bryant they kind of see as Jarell Cherry and put on a lot of weight and be a hand down DE eventually
Malcolm Greene is like Lorando Johnson, S/NB
CamRon Jackson will be tried at OT and maybe DE (what he routinely plays) as well

Gotcha. Jackson was who I was curious about. I didn’t know that much about him other than on paper he appears like a good candidate for OT.

Thunderbird, two questions.
1. I read the RB that Eric Taylor could be looked at for o line. Im hazy on it and if I remember correctly, it was considered a small chance of that.
2. Michael Williams (Texas transfer) is 6-2 and two hundred-something.
The roster said 244 but I’ve read some threads saying He’s up to 275.
I’m not sure his body is done growing yet. Is it even remotely possible that he adds 30 more and could be a 6-2 NT?
Is he still quick? I can see him as a DE, but he’s still only 6-2......which is still okay.

Havent heard about that, it's possible. Not trying to crap on Taylor but of all the Dlinemen we have committed he had the least impressive season. Like 30 tackles, 4.5 TFL and 0.5 sack or something.

If you watch Williams you can see him being a DE in this defense, dont think he ever gets big enough to play NT for us, we tend to like much much bigger guys there (320+). They experimented with Evans at NT some but even he is playing more DE now.
If we are able to hand out any extra scholarships being under the 85 going into next season I could see Williams getting one.
