Any Legs to the Orgeron Theory?

I have seen a couple of people suggesting that the O hire was kept hush-hush so that he could contact recruits during he dead period. If true, this was really quite brilliant by Les and everyone involved.

I would think so. He was a major recruiter at Bama along with several other coaches.

nah, that would be a violation, too.
Orgeron very well may have been in contact with recruits...but it had nothing to do with the timeline IMO.

I think this is definitely true.
Guice tweeted at players to "talk to Coach O before committing somewhere else". Orgeron was loud and repetitive on the radio about "Not being contacted by LSU" which we know is false now.
I think for sure this was the case and I love it.
