No offense, but this isn't news.

THere is NO CAP on the number of signees this year as schools press hard to get to and stay under the 85 scholarship limit.

For LSU, that's a big push to get TO 85, as we have been undermanned the last couple of years.

That may require us to sign 35-40 total new players.

Kelly has stated publicly that he wants to build the program through his Freshman classes. And supplement positions of need through the Portal.

Last year, he had to completely re-stock the secondary with veterans from the Portal.

THis year, expect 8-10 Freshman DB's to be signed, and a transfer or 2 with multiple years of eligibility.

Having said all of that.... we have 24 HS committs currently. I'm not sure how many sign tomorrow, hopefully all 24 + Ricks.

HE will add transfers after and while also narrowing the focus to the remaining HS targets for the FEB signing day.

Again - between tomorrow and the FEB signing period, HS and Portal kids.... I would expect at least 35 new Tigers. Maybe 40.
