Because your board is pretty hilarious to read sometimes...

I'm sure you say the same about this one too.

Ah, I dont go to the recruiting board over there at all. Why do you keep going back if you hate it? Seems odd. I come here but I like you guys

Sometimes Big Kat, after a long week of work and raising a child, I just need a good laugh and that board provides it for me

In all honesty, I haven't really been over there much the last couple of years.

Gino also say Travin is going to call Mario Edwards. Hope he is right and Edwards is bonding with our recruits.

Thats one of the big obstacle that remains.

Still think we hang on to him due to his relationship with the rest of the class.

He definitely is enjoying the love from LSU. He likes the idea that the National runner up wants him, and who wouldn't?

I still don't think he's met his position coach at A&M, Marcel Yates. If not, that should be the opportunity to lock him down if you're A&M (meaning, if he's not switching to LSU on the visit despite not knowing his position coach at A&M, then you've got to like your positioning after he does). I imagine they'll be in his house early this week.

What if he doesn't like the new DB coach at TAM? Could be bad for TAM in the next week to 10 days with LA dbs. Monroe is by no means safe particularly if we offer. Tulane may take him as it is. I'm not saying I'm confident on Thompson because I'm not, just laying out the possibilites.

Oh sure, I definitey acknowledge the threat. I have faith in Yates, he was a stud for a very long time at Boise. Still, it won't be easy to hang on to Thompson. Really need Sumlin and Co. to pull it together.

Deeboe isn't flipping to Tulane. I didn't know you guys were still interested in him.

We have backups lined up. But you never want to lose a recruit especially late in the game.

If we lose these kids I'll just post on TexAgs that I hope they are jobless, homeless and penniless by the end of the day

Y'all cut BigKat some slack. He brings a different perspective on this board, and gives you guys something to think and comment about.

Now to Thompson. I think LSU offering Elston is to make Thompson make a decision as early as possible. That's not a bad idea. Tigers are covering their bases, especially since Thompson is already committed to TAMU.

Like Edwards, if Thompson decideds LSU, it will be this week. He won't let A&M hang. I think he has been growing on the LSU coaching staff and they want him.

But I still think LSU defensive backfield coaching and history (Jones, PP7, MC, and next year Eric Reid), plus Chief is a better sell than new HC and new DB coach. Plus with LC history, he can come in and inherit the spot. Only an extra 2 hours or so drive time over B/CS, so distance not an issue.

Hopefully the young man chooses the Tigers.

Apparently he removed TAMU Commit from hid twitter profile yesterday but added it back today.

I follow twitter but do my best to not overanalyze a 17 year olds whimsical thoughts
