You're right. They lived in MS when the Hurricane hit, forcing them to move, they even lived on a boat in Florida for a couple years after, before moving Bay St. Louis. I read the article wrong, but pretty sure that most of his cousins went to LSU. So that and his family being around New Orleans still gives him plenty of ties to LSU.

Saadhiq Charles did move from Louisiana after Katrina.
