I havent been too caught up over the RR's recruiting because I thought we had chance. I know this a Bama biased article, but RR's high school coach in this article seems to be pushing for him to go to Bama

we don't need r.r.
r.s. will be a much better receiver for us. trust me.

Bradshaw isnt pushing Randle anywhere but LSU..come on Downs, Benton, Aubrey, and more in the past would suggest otherwise.

what is with all this "take the pressure off Jones" gargbage ? Yeah Alabama is the only school in Div 1 with a freshman star who can't sleep at night with all the double coverages he is going to see in 09 (rolleyes)
sounds like CNN montra to me..

I have also seen Bradshaw in the past tell local news that he wants all of his kids to go to LSU.

whos going to throw to jj next year,we all know whos going to be our qb next year?
Posted on 1/11/09 at 8:18 am to DeafVallyBatnR
Shepard is a qb and that's all he'll be and if Randle wants to be hated in La more than any recruit that has ever left the state, then he can be our guest. He has a chance to be THE MAN of our receiving corps and be a hometown hero. Yeah, spurn that to be second fiddle to Jones and have ego maniac Satan scream at you for two years until he bolts for Notre Dame, Michigan or elsewhere.

I just wouldnt understand the move if he chose Alabama, whereas Oklahoma I could. Dont go to a team where you wont be utilized. Yeh they have JJ, but we have a JJ that will get him the ball

and what part of that article indicated he was "pushing" Randle Bama's way? It looked like another 'we don't have a clue what Randle's gonna do' article to me. FYI, Bradshaw has said in the past that he suppports and likes his players going to the state school. Also, many forget what happened with the DT from Bastrop that was a Bama commit and had to go elsewhere once Saban arrived...

I cant wait to read the bama fan's comments when RR commits.
Posted on 1/11/09 at 8:34 am to outsideroach
they will say they almost had him and we got lucky...but they will be saying how they stole sentimore from us like they stole robby green from us last year

If it's true that Bradshaw took him to visit Saban at the Indy bowl and took him to a bama practice, then how telling is that? Maybe Bradshaw has no problems pushing lesser talent to LSU than a stud to an old friend. Just my 2 cents that may not be worth that much.

I just think that he wanted RR to get some incite into the college game and shreveport isnt that far, Saban maybe still a friend of Bradshaw so why not, if RR wanted to go check it out then I understand. The thing with RR is that if he was just listening to Bradshaw I think he would already be a tiger, he is just taking his time getting his family involved and weighing every option. You cant fault the kid for that, and when its all said and done he will be a tiger, hopefully

hate to say this....but if RR hated the recruiting process so badly....he could make everyones life easier by committing now.....if he was committting to LSU - he would have done it a long time ago.
since he is looking to go to Alabama - the longer he holds off the hatred and chaos people from Louisiana will give him for leaving....the less time he will have to listen to it.
randle signs with bama on signing day.
if he isnt, why doesnt he end the recruiting phase and get tons of admiration as the hometown hero now? because he isnt staying at home

Because he wants to make the right decision, just because he hasnt committed yet doesnt mean anything

Because Espn likes the hype of a top player signing on national signing day.

+1
This makes complete sense to me. Everyone on here is being an LSU homer and making themselves feel better by saying Randle is just trying "make the right decision." If I'm wrong I'll come on here and eat crow on NSD...but, in the end, I believe he will be a member of the Crimson Tide.
Here's to hoping I'm wrong though.

If it is soo tough and they are tired of it, then fricking commit. Me thinks they are enjoying it and say the contrary to keep people from bashing them......which there is nothing to really bash, b/c it is still recruiting time. Now, if he pulls a Pryor, then my opinion will change.
AND, as it has been said, going to Bama will ensure he is second fiddle on a RUNNING-based offense. Besides, not having an experienced QB only ensures JJ gets 90% of the passes.

I do like to be optimistic and I follow the other recruiting sites, they both feel better about RR after this last week after in home visits and comments made by family members, so i feel confident he will be a tiger
