No disrespect, but anything in La. 4A HS football would compare more than favorably w/ Fla. HS competition.

I work in Houma and the kid is the toast of the town. He looks like another Shea Patterson type who I think is an exceptional talent. But like Shea, not a La. native. So I'm hoping he will stay home and become a Tiger in a couple of years.

I am not taking it as disrespect. I don't know. I know Tampa is one of the top areas in the country. I do know that no 6th grader would be playing in a varsity game here.

I disagree a bit. South Florida football is a step above what we have in this state. Tampa, Jacksonville and Orlando a comparable, but the amount of talent on some of those S Fla. teams is absurd.

Example--Dalvin Cook, Devonta Freeman and Miami's Joseph Yearby shared a backfield together at Miami Central.

I agree, Miami is legit. This year, my kid played against 4 UF recruits, 1 USC , numerous USF and a couple Miami recruits. I know that doesn't mean a lot. But Tampa has a lot of talent. I agree Miami is better though. I am not sure how it compares to Louisiana. I know Louisiana has a ton of talent

IMG is a team in Florida, but definitely not a Florida team. And I'm sure about that.

Doesn't sound like he is playing any real competition if he is playing against nothing but short cajun crackers in that video
