Suntiger, if you notice, an LSU started this post and Capstone came on here to give some pretty decent info about the recruits.
I just agreed with his view of things, and meant that if the OP was trying to goad Bammers, then it wasn't a very good argument, simply because Bama doesn't worry about getting Bama players for the sake of getting Bama players. They recruit nationally.
And if you're implying that I am a negatiger, you really need to read my posts. I get bashed for being a sunshiner if anything. I think we had a good class this year that filled some needs. I will admit, that am a proponent of national recruiting to keep up with what Bama, Auburn, FSU, tOSU, ND, etc are doing as per the top 100 players.
Our road to a NC goes through Bama, Arky and TAMU, so yes, we have to pay attention to what they are doing.....

Shanks doesn't fit UA 3-4 scheme, didn't fit into his high school's 3-4 scheme either.

Ditto for Kwon Alexander to us - the real loss was Collins. It's over, let's focus on the players we got (and our class was underrated because of the LBer emphasis - and we definitely needed LBers).

Here's my point - not that you picked up on it -
Many on this board have been bellyaching over Miles losing the top 3 in La. and going OOS - well, my point is even Saban lost 3 of Bama's top 6. That's it, very simple.
