The SEC in 2007 was way more competitive than last year. It wasn't even close. The only team that would have competed for the top spot in the SEC in 2007 was the 2008 gators.

Bama will always recruit at a high level especially with Saban leading. Whether you like them or not, Saban is an elite HC who demands maximum effort from his staff which everyone knows. Bama will win at a strong level with the defense they have coming back and a more athletic QB.

man, that Wilson kid was barely NCAA-level. I've seen film of the Star Jackson kid and he has ability to cause trouble at least physically. I will never sugarcoat the obvious, Saban is going to be tough for everybody with the exception of maybe Meyer. The guy's winning primarily with Shula's average players and we have to be honest.
