Your post makes no sense.
Okay this may be a better example of cause and effect:
You ever heard of the Bama Bump? Bama is a very good program and the recruiting services trust their decisions to offer, no doubt and why not? But they also get higher rated classes because they are a very good program. This is A cause and effect.
Clemson never had good classes until they started kicking the shite out of Alabama in national championship games. The services were smart enough to realize that if the 13th rated classes ON AVERAGE kept kicking the shite out of the annual #1 rated class every time they met, they may start losing paying subscribers.
Clemson's class rankings:
2013: 15 Clemson
2014: 16 Clemson
2015: 9 Clemson
2016: 11 Clemson
2017: 16 Clemson
GUESS WHAT? Yep, you are correct!!! Clemson has the #1 class in the nation this year. Even though they were the best team in the nation some of years they didn't even recruit very well. Or did they?
Another example of cause and effect:
A NON-EXISTENT football recruit successfully catfished their way to a 3-star ranking by reporting an offer from Alabama

Does this make sense now?

While somewhat true, I don't believe any team has won the NC since the BCS format, now playoffs, that didn't have top ten talent.
Clemson has won more than one. They finished in the top-10 ONE time over a 5-year period.

Arguably the best Strength of Record in the history of the sport according to analytics this season
And yet, phony FPI on ESPN has Clemson favored. SMH.
