Yes, yes, and yes again. I tore up my elbow on the mound at Alex Box and both my dad and uncle played football at LSU. I've also interviewed many others. Most of them think all of the attention and hoopla is funny and have no problem shaking it off. It's the headcases like T.O. that can't handle being spoken negatively of.

As a fresh faced college kid I got berrated by the likes of John Brady and Bob Huggins for asking the most innocuous of questions after a loss and in Huggins' case even after a close win. Did I run away crying because they hurt my feelings? No, I asked another question because I knew if I wanted to be a sports writer, I would have to learn to deal with people disagreeing with me.

If Janzen wants to be a pro football player or coach, he's going to have to get used to people badmouthing him. Especially when he pulls the kind of stunt he did on LSU.

But when LSU fans react to being screwed over by the guy, LSU fans are in the wrong? Not in this case, sorry.

Then you know it's a full-time "job."

As to the rest of your post, some people are well-adjusted, and some aren't. But that is beside the point, which is not whether his feelings are hurt because of what is posted here, but that the board's policy is prohibit the personal attacks on recruits and LSU student-athletes.

Which of these categories does Janzen Jackson fall under? He's no longer a recruit, and he's not an LSU student athlete. I understand not bad mouthing potential recruits, but once they've signed elsewhere they aren't recruits anymore.

You are splitting hairs now. Are you seriously disputing the negative ramifications for the board if the egregious attacks continue? If you are, there is nothing I can say to convince you otherwise.
