Heh, these guys... I already know where Rueben is going to college. Even though RR himself doesn't even know. I'm not going to tell him, either. I want it to be a surprise.

Naturally, as a huge Tiger fan, I hope LSU signs every great player that it offers a scholly, particularly, in-state players. That said, it's a free country and high school kids (yes, they're KIDS) should go where their heart tells them to go. Hopefully for Reuben, that is LSU.

I can understand a kid wanting to go to a big city university (USC, Miami, for example) or a known academic school (Stanford, Rice, for example), rather than his state school. What is a little disconcerting about the Alabama situation is that it is the attraction of playing for Nick Saban, which I don't get. Nothing against Alabama, I'm sure as a university it is comparable to LSU. And nothing personal against Saban, but I would tell a Louisiana high school player being recruited by Saban ... when he mentions "loyalty," think to yourself, how much loyalty did he show to all other organizations he has coached at, and left ... particularly, the Miami Dolphins?

If you go to Alabama, go because you've always been a fan, go because they have a great business school or whatever, because you want to be a business major ... but DON'T go because of Nick Saban.

All that said ... LSU could certainly use Mr. Randle and I know all Tiger fans throughout the state would be thrilled to have him, but if he goes elsewhere, we'll wish him God speed!

Tell your brother that he is going to look great wearing crimson across from Julio Jones.

Just kidding, I like to give these guys a hard time.

God bless your brother and what ever decision he makes I feel certain it will be what is best for him and his family.

Hey DMitch, I think the best person to give advice to your brother is ... Russell Shepard!

I could take USC or Miami, but if he goes to Bama it would hurt.

I'm going to have to assume his brother knows how to correctly spell his name.

Dmitch.........

I believe in Randle regardless of his decision. I just hope he enjoys his time with Sheppard, Ford, Benton, Loston, and the rest of the studs coming to LSU this year.

He is the biggest piece of the puzzle and holds our keys to the recruiting national title. No pressure.

You know whats sad, grown men harassing a high school kid about what school he wants to attend.

I went to school on an academic scholarship and it still took me 5 months to figure out which one to go to and I only had 4 school to choose from. What can you expect from a kid holding probably close to 100 offers?

I don't patrol this board very often, just noticed it because it was stickied. Glad this kid came on here and said what he did.

Last comments, whatever this guy decides to do, I hope he goes to the school where he feels the most comfortable. Even if its Alabama. Better hope he doesn't use the Internet. I'm sure the Rant and this board hasn't been doing us any favors at the moment.

Whoever called RR an idiot should be banned..
They are either:
A: A retarded LSU Fan
B: A normal (retarded) Bama fan posing as a LSU fan
C: Foosball
