Sure would be nice to land one of these elite blue chip players we keep missing out on lately. I'm sure he'll tell all once he picks FSU LSU was very close second because we're the favorite second hat on the table per usual.

We aren't second too often. Last year we signed a few 'elite' guys you may have heard of.
and 2017 has Stevens, Deculus, Shelvin, Delpit, Brennan, Narcisse....and more. All highly coveted and all committed to the LSU Tigers.

Wait, what? LSU has finished outside of the top 10 in recruiting classes twice in the past decade according to Rivals. You say we've been missing out on blue chip players lately? Then how did we end up with these finishes:
'16 - 5th
'15 - 8th
'14 - 2nd
'13 - 6th
So over the past four years we've averaged the 5th best recruiting class in the country. This year looks like another top 5 finish. Teams all over the country would kill for that kind of consistency.

Does anyone find it odd that Shea Dixon hasn't put in a CB for Akers? Is he holding out 'til 6:59 to snipe a pick to LSU and be the only correct insider? Hmmmmm

So...you're holding onto some sort of false hope even though they both wrote he's going to FSU this morning because they didn't put in a last second pointless CB that nets 0 points and won't affect their CB average...

I'm the one smart enough NOT to pay to read pointless recruiting articles, so yes I am a genius.
Besides, it does affect their accuracy percentages.
