4 star WR Brian Thomas jr. > 5 star number 1 WR Agiye Hall

According to 247's rankings Agiye Hall is a 5 star WR recruit and ranked number 1 WR in the country. Brian Thomas jr. is rated as a 4 star WR recruit and ranked the number 10 WR in the country. Both have similar size, 6'3" 190# for Hall and 6'4" 185# for Thomas (though Thomas does look bigger than 185). Though watching highlights of these 2 I found their play very similar, I think Thomas is shifter in the open field. Their top end speed is close, as is their acceleration off the ball. But when maneuvering through defenders in the open field I see Thomas as being more fluid and quicker in his cuts. I really don't think there is a better WR in this class the size of Thomas. Anybody else evaluate and compare Thomas to other WR's his size? I may be a little biased, but I don't believe that has altered my evaluation.

I've seen Thomas up close and he is the real deal. Very smooth running routes doesn't panic at all when recieving the ball. It's going to be Bama or Lsu battle. My nephew is a Sr on his team.

Why are we talking about Brian? Are we recruiting him and is there interest? Unless we have some attrition , I don't see the need at this position. I am not saying we wouldn't like to have him.

I watched the Walker vs Madison Prep. He was matched up with Major Burns. Thomas was unstopable when he had the ball in his hands. Burns is a monster also.

Because T-eyes is from Walker.

Chris Hilton is back tonight for the first action of the year.
I'm anxious to see how well he does being the number one guy this year getting looks.
I also will add that Quincy Brown has been dynamite for Destrehan this season. He is special.

Played at same HS and went to school with 2 of his uncles. But, I can put aside such things to make an evaluation.

I just can't see him going to bama. Most families in Walker are Tiger fans. Same goes for the Thomas family as I recall. But, never know. But so far every D1 level recruit from Walker has ended up at LSU. Willie Forbes, Lionel Turner, Chris Hawkins, Jalen Cook.... May be some bad blood with LSU since they didn't recruit Juniors dad, but I really don't see this as anything that would keep him from being a Tiger.

I'll check him out. I'm sure with this new offense LSU is going to sign 4 WR a season.

This kid may have something to say about that...
Chris Hilton
Crazy that the #5 and #10 WR in the country are playing in the same 5A district in Baton Rouge...
Geaux Broncos!

Why would you diss Hall when we are recruiting him?

Why would you consider evaluating 2 players as a 'diss'? And exactly how did I "diss' him? I mean, recruiting sites rank players behind other players all the time, is this 'dissing' those ranked lower? Did I say Hall was no good? Did I say Hall is garbage? Why is it that saying a Louisiana player is better than one from another state 'dissing' the kid from another state? You think other states are just better than Louisiana and the people there just better than us in little ole Louisiana? Are you saying that we in Louisiana are just trash and not worthy of being better than people in other states so it's a 'diss' to say a Louisiana player is better than a player in another state? I actually said they are pretty close, just a couple little differences that I see Thomas as being better at. Can you comprehend the written word, or do you have problems with it?

Why get defensive? I was just curious when you could use any recruit to say Thomas was better than, you’d pick a recruit LSU is actively pursuing. It’s just a dumb thing to do. Can you comprehend that?
