People on this site are really stupid. Like the ones worried about his offer list. I’m pretty confident in Coach O and the rest of the LSU staff when it comes to recruiting.

He reminds me of CEH in that he reads the potential tacklers and makes the side step at the right time to miss. Similar to Earle also.
Don't know the competition but he seems to have more speed than CEH.

We still gonna go after Camar Wheaton and LJ Johnson if Kiner commits?

Dude is a top 10 running back in the country but he isn’t a big enough name for some people lol. Anytime you get a guy in the top 10 of his position you are getting the top guys.

Exactly! Especially when it seems like we’re going for a 2 RB class anyway.

I'm not sure there is anything to say to those who doubt O's evaluations.

This guy is really good, we just haven’t heard much from him because he’s not from here and we didn’t have him on our radar.

I have a lot of friends in Cincinnati, including a guy who coaches Kiner. Nothing but glowing things to say about the kid and his attitude. He’s a great talent, great kid, will make for a great Tiger

If we were to get Kiner and Wheaton, That would give us Curry ,Emory, Davis-Price, Brsdford, Wheaton and Kiner. Isn't that too big a stable of running backs to keep happy?

Running back has the shortest average NFL career. I would suspect if any of Curry, Emory, Or Davis-Price gets a mid round grade their 3rd year removed from high school that they will declare. Yes I know Emory and TDP are not draft eligible this year. Gotta look down the road and start preparing accordingly. Running backs should be managed as three year players.

I think Curry has a good year and declares....maybe not, but I think he has the build/talent to be a solid NFL RB. It’s my understanding the staff want to take two this class.

Very Few folks on this site are very knowledgeable about recruiting and all that goes into it today, esp the Character checklist points from Jack Marucci, our resident genius who leads America in recruiting analysis. LSU uses a character checklist now to recruit only those players with the highest character, and that’s regardless of Star rating.

Kiner is a rare kid at RB. He has that work ethic and combination of size and speed and shiftiness to replace a CEH, but the MOST IMPORTANT REASON we’re recruiting him is that he’s a GOOD CHARACTER KID with a 3.2 GPA and a smart hard worker LOVED BY JACK MARUCCI & high on the LSU list for 2021.

Wheaton has to be tops on the RB board, no? He's John Emory-special IMO. He and Kiner would be an unreal haul!
