4* OT Diego Pounds will be committing September 25th

Penn State will likely be the pick but im sure we feel confident on other prospects.

This is great news.

Yes, he's solid-heavy lean to PSU but we've been on his mind for a while. A visit would be great and give us a punchers chance.

I can't help but note that he is supposed to be committing 9/25 also. I suspect that date has moved so don't get too excited. But if not... look out.

Pounds is very large and in a P5 S&C program he will soon be in the "huge" catagory. He's a fairly athletic huge but movement does need refinement (feet are inconsistent and what is called "wasteful") and he need to develop his agility. So he wouldn't be coming in SEC-ready, but bet your bottom dollar the potential is there to become a top tier SEC OT.

Fingers crossed that Cregg has convinced him that the combo of Cregg/LSU/Moffitt is the team to get him there.

I would love to say he's coming on the 25th to commit to us. I think that possibility exists. I just can't bring myself to say it is a probability.

I'm actually glad Mack Brown is building up UNC.

At least, they are becoming a competitive program to hopefully become a challenge for Clemson, who rules that sorry conference.
