Committed to fricken UTSA? I've always seen this dude and always have assumed UTSA offered early and he committed early, but just noticed we offered him 6 months before he committed to UTSA. Holds Kentucky, Kansas, A&M, Tennessee, West Virginia offers as well... But why UTSA?

I'm sure if the bigger programs pursue him hard he'll flip, but right now he wants to throw Frank Wilson a bone out of loyalty or admiration of him.
Kansas had some of that recently from New Orleans kids, although they actually got one.

Larry Porter is at Auburn. Plenty of players have committed to small schools then flip to bigger ones late ie the Kansas kids.

Sounds like Frank landed an outstanding linebacker--for now at least. But the question is, can he keep Kelin in the UTSA fold, when bigger schools really start pursuing him.

He’s been committed there since the summer before his Sophomore season. He isn’t going there. He’s a must get at LB and will play in the SEC. hopefully Tigers.

Not going to admonish your comment because I'd likely feel the same way if I knew a recruit personally. That said, this is a recruiting board where prospects are talked up and talked down by posters. It's part of the culture of recruiting message boards. Any of us knowing a recruit personally isn't going to stop that from happening. Have to let some of those comments go, particularly one as innocent as that one. This kid is going to critiqued on this board if he is an LSU caliber guy.
Tigerbru's approval is good enough for me. I almost asked about him the other day but couldn't remember which poster had previously spoken highly of him. Believe he's also high on Brandon Williams and so am I.
Would genuinely like some info about Burrle and why his name is rarely, if ever, mentioned as a potential recruit for our staff.

He didn’t really say anything that bad man... it’s his own personal opinion and no attack on him as a person or player. That’s great you know him, but it’s someones opinion and it really wasn’t a far stretch or that far off. He didn’t come on here saying “Oh frick this guy, he’s a shitty football player, etc.” He’s a great football player and I’m sure a great guy, but you took that one to heart too much. Besides a good portion of the people on this board are idiots, I wouldn’t take a lot of people’s comments seriously.
