Even if or more likely when Stewart goes to USC, Bo Davis has done his job so far I feel. Got more than anyone expected out of Gio Paez, McKinley I think take a big step next year. I think Washington needed a year to get acclimated to SEC play vs Juco, Suggs looked good for a small sample size and may get bigger with another year with our strength team. And Breaux played very well for a freshman nobody thought would contribute this early.
Now he has 4 new tanks to play with and add much needed depth!
And as I was reminded by public_enemy,
Big Guillory will be back manning that NT spot! Dline looks to be making a comeback under Bo and Baker

Don’t forget about Guillory coming back as well!

Dt went from perceived massive weakness to middle of the road (I say that meaning as a compliment) this year despite losing our perceived to be biggest contributor.
I expect to go from middle of the road to being a team strength next year.
Unfortunately the OL had a reverse of that.

2026 is a big year in state too - Anderson, Berryman, Darryus McKinley.
On the OL too - Lamar Brown, Martinez, Chapman.
Could be a banner year in the trenches with just in state kids.

Honestly if you take care of OL/DL recruiting the rest will work itself out. Having a superior OL/DL wins you games. We just need our next QB.

Yep we should have enough athletes around here to make the skill positions work.
Spend the big money on the lines.

I’ll be honest McKinley is the reason I have some hope for Stewart. If Mckinkey hadn’t shown up like he has this year I’d say good riddance to Stewart.
He was a measurables guy that a solid number of posters said was fairly soft and unimpressive during his senior year. Particularly for a 5 star.
