I know. It's fricking stupid. How da fuq does a player get better/worse when no one is doing anything or playing any kind of games. So fricking retarded lol

Are some of you really this dumb?

They dont casually update all guys throughout a year as they see fit, they have points where they stop and do hard looks and change a ton of guys at once. They do mass updates and it's ALWAYS been this way. They likely updated several guys from their senior seasons too.

Did he lay a serious egg during all star week????

No, he did really well and more then held his own. Apparently his senior film wasn't as good as his previous film, so that somehow means he had to drop nearly 100 spots. Same for Trayvon Mullen. Barton Simmons loves to get all cute with his rankings and put a bunch of dudes who no one knows who the frick they are in his final rankings. He's got like 10 guys combined from Kentucky and Utah in his top 100. 9 of them will probably flame out or just be solid players, but God forbid he hits on one. Dude won't hesitate to tell you how he discovered Tyrann Mathieu.

Willie Allen dropped 56 spots

Trayvon Mullen dropped 68

Saivion dropped 80

Divinity is the highest ranked player I believe currently committed at 18 with Rashard Lawrence as a potential prospect at 20.

Willie Allen dropping some isn't surprising except that it happened so late.

Mullen dropped due to several other DBs getting more attention as of late (i.e. Fulton).

Saivion dropping that far is retarded.

Rashard could possibly be a top 10 prospect IMO, but as long as he is still considered a 5 star, it's not too far off.

so, anyone know how changes affect the composite score. ex. if LSU commits (Logan, Anthony) go up by 400 points and other LSU commits go down by 200 points then does LSU still lose points in team rankings calculations.

in other words, are the rankings terribly biased toward the top 50-100 prospects.

Why is it "fricking you up?" How do you not know who's already committed from that list?

Yeah I believe Saivion was the number 6 overall recruit at one point not too long ago. I'd like to know why he was dropped that far.

It's because he committed early and didn't do anything spectacular in the AA game. There is not rational reason for him to drop outside of the top 30 much less 80 spots.

Weren't Edwin Alexander and Saivon Smith in the top 10 at the beginning? This happens every year. LSU gets an early top 10 commit and they drop throughout the year regardless of how they perform.

No way we finish with top class now unless some miracle happens but it is a damn strong championship class.

What? LSU is #2 with only 20 players committed. With Lawrence, Willie Allen, and Fulton all as likely joining the class #1 is definitely out of reach.
