CoastTiger lmows more than I, but from what I understand Lester QuinonesLINK /
Trendon Watford LINK /
Khadim Sy LINK /

Looks like LSU will have 3 more spots to fill if everything goes well for Naz and Tremont. These 3 would fit well at LSU.

Good God I want him, as well as Lester.

It's likely those three to fill the last three spots, assuming both Naz and Tremont leave after this year.

If N'Faly Dante reclassifies, he could possibly take Sy's spot

Tremont should return if his current play continues. He will go undrafted with his current resume from this year. Naz has so much to gain by coming back another year but I’m sure he will get bad advice.

Realistically, what are our chances? Crystal balls have us 3rd. Would love to have him.

He loves Memphis and what they are building. He loves Penny Hardaway big time. He loves Alabama, and it’s the in state school. His older brother went to Indiana, and his family has a strong relationship with their assistant coaches. He is close with someone on the LSU staff. I don’t think we get Watford when it’s all said and done, but could be wrong.

I've heard he has been considering it. And he is the real deal.

He’s a 5 star, and like the #1 Center for 2020. Would be better than Naz most likely. If they got him, and Lester that would be great. I hope Waters comes back. Losing C.J. Walker hurt.

From what I heard he has family within the LSU program. Take that for what it's worth.

Unless Waters is injured he will enter the draft imo after this season.

He’s not getting any taller and that’s his biggest liability.

Naz is currently projected to go in the 20’s overall. If he continues to improve that position could improve. He will not improve enough to become a lottery pick however imo.

Naz is the one who should come back, but I think 1 and done is probably seared into his brain.

Where is this coming from? That would be the first I’ve heard or read he has family at LSU.

Are you sure you aren’t misinterpreting the relationship that Bill Armstrong (current assistant coach) has with his family? Armstrong’s dad coached basketball for many years in the area Watford is from (and maybe even coached his dad, but I may be getting that part wrong). But Armstrong has known Trendon and his family for several years and that is the relationship that some think others may be underestimating in LSU’s chances to get him.

Those three would fit the bill. We will probably need sy the most next year

Does Watford have a smooth shot?

Kinda surprised you dont think we go for another small lightning bolt like mayes/waters, they are small but co.plement well with the big athletic guards and forwards we play

Assuming Waters goes pro, do we think Smart is the point next year? Or does a freshman like Bishop takeover?

I thought it would be Kingsby before he left.

Did you realize I wasn’t responding to your post?
You literally answered my question in your next post so you obviously didn’t understand what I meant.
He said if Waters continues to play like he is he will go undrafted.

IMO, so far, Smart is not an SEC PG. Dude can shoot it and he can score it, but I haven't seen anything that would make him our #1 PG next season. Leave him on the wing....

I agree. Smart is good enough to get minutes in relief at the point, but not good enough to be the starter and play mostly at the point.

So, who will it be? I don't see another SEC starter on the roster, or the horizon.

Is Bishop good enough to be an SEC starter at the point as a freshman? If not, who is?

I believe that Wade expected Danya Kingsby to be the point guard next year, but he is now gone.
