how about we recruit a QB that fits our system
Brandon Harris doesn't fit our system? Justin Mcmillian? Both guys have cannons, are plenty smart, and can run. I have news for you, those guys fit EVERY system.

Apparently our system is a statue with a cannon. BH has all the arm talent in the world, like you said, a guy like that fits every system. He just has to learn it.

I agree, McMillian may come out of nowhere to get some PT, Kid looked great during spring Game. Seemed like he had control of the O.

For a true freshman....the kid gets it unlike Harris last year. He is not gifted athletically as Harris, but he may have the intagibles needed.
I truly feel like he is better QB than AJ both mentally and athletically....not quite as physical yet.
Give him one redshirt year and no telling what happens.

I didn't see McMillians name mentioned
I was talking to a friend of mine and he asked how the QB's did in the spring game. I told him that I remember a bunch of great catches by the wide receivers, but only remember one throw from a QB. McMillians pass to the tight end over the middle.
Cam was "gifted" Jennings and because he came here from the NFL he had no longstanding relationship with any of the high school QB's so he had to take what he could get his first year.
He saw that Harris has the physical tools but was raw. So he convinced Brandon to come to LSU thinking he could coach him up on the things needed to run his system.
I really hope things click for Harris, but if not McMillian played pretty good in the spring game for someone with so little time in the system.
McMillian is Cam's first QB that he had time to really study and build a relationship with he knows McMillian can run his system and Justin has the summer and fall to get bigger and better.
I'm really not that worried about this year, 2016 or 2017 then we got Franks and Dinkelmann coming in.

McMillan only having about 1 drive was a telling sign that he is well behind the other 2 qbs in the depth chart.

No doubt at the given point in time. He should be right? Heck, the guy should have been on Senior trip somewhere given his age
But instead he is gunslinging passes over the middle of Tiger D to a TE of all players.

Something that stands out to me about Thompson compared to Narcisse is that Thompson seems to have a lot less supporting talent around him. A lot of his highlights have free rushers by the time the ball gets to him on the shotgun snap. The snaps are pretty bad, too.
That said, it looks like he runs more out of necessity than desire. Narcisse seemed to run by design with a lot of roll outs for passes.

Dude, he was an early enrollee freshman.

Harris played well in the spring game when he was the same age. Franks is the qb you were talking about in that post. Mcmillian is a project who I'm sure cam hopes he never has to see the field because if he does that means injury or franks is a bust

No McMillian was EE. Most his age are in South Padre that time of year. Franks is/was a junior this spring. That being said I hope Franks isnt a bust or we have injury.
