I've asked this before, but why is Franks considered a dual threat? He doesn't seem to move super fast or anything, he's huge and has a big time arm..
Is it because he can run people over, kind of like a Tim Tebow? Or does he even do this?

makes no sense to me
like many have said, if anything, Patterson is dual threat and Franks is a pocket passer with good mobility

Watching his film, he runs well. Not blazing speed but has moves and very athletic for a big guy.

Seems to only run when he needs to in order to avoid pressure. That's not really what you think of when you hear "dual threat QB". I would definitely say he's more of a pocket passer.

He has dual threat capabilities. What makes him attractive is the fact he'll stand in the pocket and throw, instead of getting antsy feet.

Yeah I never understood the hoopla about getting Patterson when we have this guy already and the 9th grader in 2018 haha. We are set at QB for a while.

He can run. He has some runs on his highlight film that look pretty good. On one of them he eluded most of the defense for about a 50 yard gain. Also can buy time in the pocket. He is mobile. But he is probably not as mobile as Shea, so the fans that are worried about us getting to mobile and athletic a QB should be relieved.
