You didnt follow that very much if this reminds you of that recruitment. You could see Collins leaving from a mile away

Been in this camp. REC is too good when they go all in, IMO...If this kid wasn't up north, I think the better recruiters at LSU would have got him in, but not counting him in this class...Hope he surprises, but I feel I've seen this roll-out before.

Yeah we can read ... There is no evidence whatsoever to his claim... Basically .. Bc he hasn't heard anything ... He's thinking Bama ...

FWIW Shea just clarified that his LSU sources arent confident

I really want Hootie, but if he gone I'll be like…

It just feels like the CRob recruitment in that the bama side is confident, the LSU side seems to be holding out hope but not overly confident, and the only people really saying LSU are the tiger droppings "insiders".

Sorry that's just how I feel about it at this point. Until I see Gruss or someone that is really tied into the LSU side, I'm saying bama.

I saw that. But our lsu sources here are confident

Look, 3 guys here - neville, red, and Memphis have all said and have been saying hootie is lsu bound

I like 247 bc they do a good job usually of posting actual recruit's interviews and quotes. But they are so wishy-washy sometimes it seems like they are just trying to pick up more members when they know they can get an audience

I'm still not sold on him being gone, but I'll admit I was hoping for a little more optimism from S/s coming out of his visit.

Yeah. I agree with some of the Collins comparison.

I don't doubt Memphis. I just don't know him or how he has any info he does.

The only confidence I had about Hootie leaning to LSU was Sonny and Shea saying last week or so that their sources felt good on the LSU side. Now there's a visit and that has changed for some reason.

I'd say that more than anything makes me feel he's going to choose Bama. I really don't care what BOL says because they're confident in everyone. Here's hoping Memphis is correct

That's a big factor in me changing my stance. Them being considerably less optimistic after the visit just doesn't sound good to me

So bama fans are bringing lsu insiders updates to the lsu recruiting board now?

I completely disagree. Im not a 247 fan boy like some people, but they are usually pretty good about letting us know when they think someone is going elsewhere.

Lsu insiders wait to the very last second to admit defeat.

Their silence and lack of confidence post visit is telling

Supposedly someone in the REC said hootie has been silently committed to Bama

I think Shea not being able to get in touch with Hootie is pretty telling as well, but very well could just be tired of the process and ready for Dec 2nd.

It hasn't even been a full day yet since he's been back from the visit people. Everyone relax, this is hooties personality.
